U.S. News and World Report recently published their inaugural edition of Best Senior Living Awards which expands the U.S. News rankings, ratings and data offerings.
In May 2022, Aurora on France Senior Living and Care, an Ebenezer-managed community, was notified by the U.S. News review and rating team, that the community had earned the highest possible ratings and had been named a Best Assisted Living for 2022-2023.
"We're so proud of our community and honored to be named a Best Assisted Living," said Campus Director Mike Syltie. "Our team lives out our mission by serving our residents with dignity, integrity and compassion." To be included in the U.S. News analysis, a senior living community had to participate in a consumer satisfaction survey of residents and their family members or appointed representatives, and had to meet certain eligibility criteria defined by U.S. News.
Overall, more than 3,000 senior living communities surveyed their residents and families on various aspects of senior living and senior care that mattered most. The satisfaction surveys were administered on behalf of U.S. News by customer and employee analytics platform Activated Insights between March 2021 and February 2022. Components evaluated in the nearly 200,000 individual survey responses include kindness of staff, variety of activities, quality of food, quality of care, management, location, cleanliness and much more.

Aurora on France was also named a Best Nursing Home for Short-Term Rehabilitation in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. Aurora offers Senior Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care, and Short-Term Rehab/Transitional Care.
