“I was talking to my daughter about what I love most about Aurora. She and I talked extensively about what made us fall in love with Aurora first - The Location! The community is set in an active part of Edina, near community parks, with a walking trail around a lake on our block, easy access to downtown, and all the nearby medical clinics. I have access to The Y, the library, shopping, restaurants, and more. It’s nice and urban, and it doesn’t feel like we are tucked away in the woods, instead we can continue our active lives as part of the Edina community like we are used to.”

“The things I really enjoy most about living at Aurora are: The location and being so close and attached to the medical center across the street by skyway. As well as how close you are to groceries and shopping and restaurants. I like how clean and nice the facility is all the time, and the cleaning services in my apartment. I like the amount of services provided that you can choose to have or not have based on your needs. And I like the variety of activities offered. I especially like to play cribbage and bridge with other community members in the nice community spaces.”

“I am quite satisfied here. Very content in my 1 bedroom apartment which I thought would be hard to adjust to living in a smaller space, but I LOVE my apartment, I really just love it! I know several of the staff members, I like all of them very much. Plus, the location is really wonderful. Easily accessible and my family lives nearby, it's really easy to get to things.”

“Everybody on the staff tries hard and the facility is nice. I like to participate in programs with professional artists, such as ceramics and painting classes as well as musicians from MacPhail teaching about music and music history. I also like watching movies in the community theater.”

“The meal service is excellent. Walking in the halls is a pleasure, the wall color and floor pattern makes it very interesting as I walk many times in a day. The apartment is more than adequate, spacious front room and having your own laundry room is excellent. I've only had a chance to go to a few programs since moving in, but now that we are doing programs I will be participating daily. I like the activities. ”

“I love my apartment because I lived here the first year with my husband so there are memories of when we lived here together before his death in 2018. I enjoy the staff and their loving and caring attitude. When I was ill last summer, they created ways to help me, walk with me, share their lives with me. I enjoy the flowers and décor outside, changing with the seasons of the year.”

“I think it's a beautiful facility, and the apartments are very nice. The staff are extremely attentive and responsible and caring. There are great activities. The grounds are beautiful and the patio space is nice. There are a lot of fun activities inside and out. There is a nice movie theater and a large community room that can host concerts, big events, and parties. It's also very nice that they allow you to have pets! I moved here from out of state. The residents in the community are super nice. I was welcomed right away and never felt that I didn't belong.”
