Aurora Staff -
Words cannot begin to express the amount of gratitude that our family has for the incredible care you showed for Ed.
Since he and mom arrived at Aurora last July, they felt a sense of welcome from every person they encountered on the Aurora team. Even when things were challenging for them as they transitioned to their new home, there was always someone to attend to their needs.
As these last few months began to signal a major change for Ed, you all gathered every bit of love, compassion and kindness that was humanly possible. The tenderness that we observed from every Aurora staff member towards Ed is heartwarming to think about, even as we journey through these days without him.
We know how challenging your jobs can be, which makes our gratitude even greater. You must love what you do to show the kind of love towards your clients/residents each and every day.
From the depths of our hearts, we say thank you to each and every one of you for caring about Ed and our family. We will always treasure the memories of Ed and his life at Aurora, knowing you helped to make it as fulfilling as possible.

First I want to again say that Aurora was an answer to our prayers. Where mom was before was awful and she was so bored that I think her decline accelerated faster than it should have. Your staff is amazing and have a great ability to see to the needs of all of your residents. Mom is so happy.
I want to relate a cute little story.
I went up to visit my mom last week and her next door neighbor, Lynn, was visiting my mom. Lynn told me that she is a frequent visitor at my mom's and she felt they were just like sisters! I never hoped for mom to find a friend in memory care much less one that could be so close. I know mom enjoys Lynn's visits and truly counts her as a friend.
Thanks again for giving us a safe place for my mom to live and be taken care of.
